Welcome to Natalie Carmella. This website (the "Site") is owned and operated by Natalie Carmella von Schleinitz. By accessing, browsing, or using this Site, or by purchasing artwork, you agree to be bound by the following Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully before completing any transaction.
1. Intellectual Property & Copyright Protection
All content displayed on this Site, including original paintings, fine art giclée prints, text, graphics, logos, images, digital lookbooks, and website layouts, is the exclusive intellectual property of Natalie Carmella von Schleinitz and is protected by Canadian and international copyright laws.

Retention of Rights: The acquisition of an original artwork or print grants the collector ownership of the physical piece only. Full copyright and all reproduction rights remain exclusively with the artist.

Prohibited Use: You may not copy, scan, reproduce, distribute, modify, or commercially exploit any artwork, imagery, or text from this Site without explicit, prior written consent from the artist.

2. Studio Terminology & Transactions
Finalizing a checkout on our e-commerce platform is recognized as a formal commitment to collect and acquire the piece.

Pricing: All prices are listed in Canadian Dollars (CAD) unless otherwise specified by changing the currency selector. Prices for original artworks, commissions, and print reproductions are subject to change without notice.

Order Acceptance: We reserve the right to refuse, limit, or cancel any order at our sole discretion. This includes, but is not limited to, cases where an item is inadvertently mispriced, an inventory error occurs, or a piece is simultaneously collected via a physical gallery exhibition. If your order is cancelled after payment has been processed, a full refund will be issued immediately.
3. Original Artworks, Private Collections & Custom Commissions

Final Sale: All sales of original paintings, items marked as part of a "Private Collection," and custom-designed art commissions are final.

Commissions: Custom commissions are subject to a separate, legally binding contract and non-refundable deposit. Once work on a custom piece has commenced, the agreement cannot be cancelled or refunded.
4. International Shipping & Customs Compliance
While our studio prepares international shipments with meticulous attention to detail and precise customs documentation, cross-border logistics are subject to international regulations.

Duties & Taxes: The collector is solely responsible for all import duties, customs fees, VAT, and local clearance taxes levied by the destination country.

Delays: Natalie Carmella is not responsible for transit delays caused by customs processing or third-party courier services.
5. Limitation of Liability
Natalie Carmella provides this Site and its contents on an "as is" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the studio disclaims all liability for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from:

Minor colour variations between the physical artwork and screen displays due to device calibration.

We are not liable for goods once they are in the possession of the collector/customer. It is not our duty to refund, exchange, replace or compensate in any way for the damage of products that have been mishandled by customers. For example: smudging fingerprints on the white border, tearing fine art prints, damaging works, etc.
6. Governing Law
These Terms of Service, and any separate agreements whereby we provide you services or artwork, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the Province of Alberta, Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any legal actions or disputes must be filed in a court of competent jurisdiction within Alberta.
7. Changes to Terms of Service
We reserve the right to update, change, or replace any part of these Terms of Service by posting updates to our website. It is your responsibility to check this page periodically for changes.
